Notification Settings of Brand Portals

How to get notified when visitors download information from your brand portals.

When you create a brand portal, you can let visitors download or request information from it. You can also enable email alerts to know when someone completes one of these actions. In this article we will teach you how to add notification alerts.

Notification alerts are managed from the brand portal details page.

To get here:

  1. Click on Brand Portals in the top navigation bar. 
  2. Click on a brand portal's name to enter its details page. 
  3. Click on the "Notifications" tab

Managing notifications

Each brand portal has its own notification settings. You can add the email addresses you want to be notified on, and define which notifications to receive.

In the "Notifications" tab of a brand portal:

1. Click on 'Add notifications'

2. Select the email of an existing user in your account or type in a new email and press enter in your keyboard. 

3. Click 'Save'

4. Confirm your changes by clicking 'Save changes'

Selecting which notifications to receive

After adding the email addresses, select whether you want to activate notifications for data sheet downloads.

Data sheet downloads- Receive an email notification whenever a visitor has downloaded any products or assets in a CSV or XLSX file.

Information in the email includes:

  • The name of the brand portal
  • The email of the visitor
  • A link to download a copy of the same data sheet that the visitor requested. 

 

⚠️  The link to download content expires after 2 weeks. 

 

Removing emails from notifications

There are two ways to stop receiving notifications on a specific email: unselect the checkbox or remove the email from the notifications tab.

 

To remove the emails from the notifications: 

1. Hover over the row with the email address you want to remove

2. Click the "X" that appears on the right end of the row

3. Save changes
